I'll be at the pub but I won't be grabbing a bite beforehand. I'll definitely have some Arsenal-supporting mates with me as well

Mick, any chance of getting to the Pig before Saturday and locating the club banner that Arj has. We need to make sure this is displayed by the big screen for the match. I'm sure other supporters clubs have banners and will make use of them this season. As our game is the early kick off it is very important that our banner is up first. That way no other supporters club can say we copied their idea. We have a banner lets get it used.
Meal before the game will be great chance to share ideas for the coming season. We may not have the largest number of supporters, but I doubt any other state travels as much to get together as we do. I'm also sure there are other Gooners in Brisbane we have yet to make contact with.
As far as I'm aware there were no major problems involving Arsenal supporters or club members at the Pig last season. Also we have a good relationship with other supporters clubs that use the pub.
Lets keep it that way.
Looking forward to Saturday. Lets hope it's a start to a successful season for both Arsenal FC and Arsenal Australia QLD.

Spoke to Arj the other day and the banner has been located. I will try to get down there before dinner and get it up.

Great to see all of you at the Pig last night. Great to see so many new faces. Good number of Gooners at the Pig which was nice to see. Even if the game wasn't the best. We've still got some work to do on the chanting front but that will come together in time.
Wishing now I had stayed on to watch the whole of the scum game. They were full of themselves before kick off, ha ha ha mugs.

I hear Ozscum were almost able to remove our club banner from the pub.
How was this allowed to happen?
Not happy.

I think it's just some tool thinking he would have been able to get it, just like how they think every year they will improve but never happens.
I would guess if they managed to nick it that they would be on the banned list pretty quickly.

Good night at the pig the chanting was a bit quiet I think due to the lack of entertainment on the pitch I think if the game was a bit more lively so would we have been.
Would love to have seen the scums faces at full time and would love to have seen Micks toffee mate in the 92 min (if he was still able to stand.) Another night in Brisbane another night for Jason to get aquainted with the toilet floor of a hotel
Mick, did you manage to stay upright all evening or did you keep your 100% record in tact?

You sure mate? Unlike a tiny tots supporter to make wild untrue comments.
After all of course they are good enough for 4th!
If the top 7 teams from last year leave to start their own league with some other top clubs that is.
