Name is Darren. just moved up from Perth. Been busy with work. Now i have managed to set aside sometime and will meet up with u guys at the Celtic club Saturday for the big game

For real, I'm Cyrus. I know a few of you from around the traps...through mates, visits to Celtic Club or through following Melbourne Victory...

I'm a huge Arsenal fan but lack commitment in an online and real-world presence for Arsenal Australia...thus often being bagged about my lack of appearances and lack of voice, energy when I do appear etc. Some call it soft, I call it CBF but it is true that my appearances come less frequently than Tottenham wins! I did, however, get a good laugh out of the 'Cyrus - give us a wave, Cyrus, Cyrus, give us a wave' chant that went up one time when I bedded myself in a couch at the front of the CC!

While I'm at it, this seems like a decent place to grandstand a bit about something i'm quite proud of...

I went to the following matches:
* Last Tottenham match at Highbury(and second last Premier League match at the stadium)
* First European fixture at Ashburton Grove(qualifier v Dinamo Zagreb - Eduardo)
* Seventh Premier League game at Ashburton Grove (against Newcastle), I had tickets to the third lined up but had a major f*** up on the day - day before my 21st birthday no less - WAS DEVASTATED!
* First FA Cup game at Ashburton Grove (against Bolton)
* First League Cup game at Ashburton Grove (against the Spuds!)

Anyways, enough crap from me, I was pretty stoked to get along to all those games...alas I haven't been back since! I reckon I'm well overdue a visit to N5 1BU!!!!!

we should start organising an arsenal australia football trip to the UK through Arsenal tours http://www.arsenaltours.com.au/ it would be mad to get a bunch of 20-30 gooners all going over for one big party (though may need a year to save up the dosh)

G'day all. I'm JD, originally from the UK, but now a Melburnian. Moved to Aus last year and after being in exile in Darwin for 7 months managed to escape to Melbourne in May. I was (and still am) a season ticket holder at Emirates. I am the kind of person who seems quite sensible and reserved, until I watch the Arsenal on telly and see what numpties the refs are making of themselves at our expense. Then I'm likely to be shouting horrible expletives and general obsenities at the cheating ref!
