Following the sucessful turn up for Spuds game at Burswood, just wondering when next meet will be?

Lucky Shag seems to out due to no late licence.

The Sunderland home game is on the 21/02/09 kick off Midnight, a touch late I know but is a sat night. Does anyone know if burswood would be showing it or would it depend on who else is playing?

they always show games...but problem is if other games are on we can never guarantee sound..as i think from experience that they just put it on the screen left hand side..no debate..but im sure u can ask...but probs get the same answers we got b4 where they cant guarantee anything

They list all games that they are showing in the following schedule:

Looks like this game is on their big screen, with commentary.

Pink boots?

Oh, and as Steve would normally point out, the official meeting place of arsenal oz perth is the lucky shag pub on barrack street jetty.

The Shag our OFFICIAL meeting place is unavailable for a short while. Andy will post a thread shortly explaining what is happening. However in the meantime as a temporary measure when daylight saving ends here and begins in UK after 29 Mar, normal Sat 23.59 kick offs will then be at 22.00. I propose that when the Carbon Bar posts its schedule, if the Arsenal v Man City game on Sat 4 Apr at 22.00 is on the big screen, with sound, we call a meet.......we can then call a meet on any Sat after that at the Carbon Bar if the schedule is kind to us, until the Shag is back on line...........what do you think???......more to follow soon.

Hi Adryll,
The Carbon Bar is the only place that looks like it is being shown, but on small screen without sound at 2.30 am. Sky usually posts other places it is shown. I know I'm not the only one not happy to watch it without sound on a small screen at that time. We usually try to organise a meet when it is on a large screen, with sound, on a Sat night, at a decent hour, when we can get a good turn out. I know it means having to wait until the planets allign but otherwise it can be lonely at the Carbon bar at 4am... :( .........as many of us watch it at home and save our energy for a big night out :D ............we should be able to get some games sorted within the next few weeks as the UK / WA daylight savings change in our favour.........

Thanks nigel for the info.

Arghh. Its frustrating not being able to catch a game. I'm gonna try and catch it at the bar. Oh yes its gonna be a lonely ride haha. Unfortunately I don't have foxtel as I'm only here
For the next 8 months so it doesn't work out for me to get fox. Oh well. I'll keep an eye when u guys will be catching the match together.

Its only 7 days till we play Man City on 4th Apr and the Carbon Bar schedule still hasn't confirmed if our fixture will be on. Only that they will be playing EPL on the big screen with sound at 20:30 and 23:00. By my reckoning the games should be on at 20:00 ish, 22:00 ish and 23:59 ish, with our game being one of the 22:00 games. As soon as it is posted I shall try to let you guys know and see if something can be organised. Sorry it is down to the last week prior....but the Carbon Bar scheduling is beyond my control. Unfortunately even if it works out ok, I won't be able to make this one, as I have a family farewell committment I can't get out of. I am spewing as it was originally organised for Fri 3rd.....more to follow......

The latest on the Carbon Bar is that the games scheduled are as follows:
20.00 Blackburn v Tiny Tots, 22.00 Newcastle v Chelski, and 23.59 Fulham v Liverpool...unfortunately the Arse game is @ 22.00 and didn't get a look in, so the next meeting won't be at the Carbon Bar on Sat 4 Apr. Hopefully we may be able to sort something out for the following weekend..........I don't feel so bad now, as unfortunately I couldn't make it anyway. As soon as we find out the following weeks schedule I'll see if we can organise something......I'll still be watching the Arsenal/Man City game ...I just need to sneak off to a different room of the function I am attending....shhh
