Although we may be able to get to see the Wigan away game on the 11th Apr, (unfortunately, the Carbon Bar schedule doesn't come out until a couple of days before the game) The Carbon Bar have already confirmed that they will play the FA Cup semi final Arsenal v Chelsea at Wembley at midnight Sat 18 Apr 09. As Steve points out it is a huge game for us, and will be worth making the effort for. I shall start a new thread, and lets get together and make a night of it......As its on Setanta there won't be too many people that have that at home....Let us know what you all think...

No luck for the 11 Apr. The Wigan game is not on the big screen at the Carbon Bar....Not sure but I guess that they just show the "main game" out of the viewers choice games....hopefully we'll get other games soon....remember they have confirmed the FA Cup semi-final at the Crabon Bar on the big screen against Chelsea on the 18 Apr.....so hope to see you guys there......

Hi Nick,
Unfortunately according to the Carbon Bar TV schedule, the Chelsea game is on at 11pm Sun 10 May, but only on the small screen with no sound. The CL second leg is on the big screen with sound but at 0230am on Wed morning, while also being on SBS free to air TV.....basically unless it is on a Sat night at a reasonable time, and it is also not on free to air tv, it is not viable to call a meet, as there aren't enough takers.....I'd really like to get something happening but the planets aren't aligning at the moment.........watch this space.....my thoughts

Looking forward to a catch up when I get back though. It's been ages...

think its just quiet as its no longer football season and the last few months were a disappointment with no games at good times due to daylight savings as well as the shag being shut.
cant wait for next season what with the brand new shag!
