irish gooner just moved to Perth
HI fellow gooners,
As the post says just moved to WA and as been an arsenal fan since 1977 I don't want to miss out on anything to do with our great club. AS I was in the pub business for the last 25 years (in Ireland,France and last 15 years in holland) I was well used to seeing the gooners a few times a season, mostly around Europe as a travel club member, or on the equivalent to Foxtel when not travelling. These days are now finished, so if there are any meets arranged around Perth to watch some games I would love to come along and join in celebrating??? I went to Burswood last Sunday to watch the 'pool game and found it a very flat athmosphere. Actually as I got there early and was the only person wearing a football shirt I went and asked if it was ok. I have some time on my hands at the moment so I also checked out The Shag the other day but as I understand it is now gone upmarket.
I hope somebody knows of a decent pub around Perth where I could go and watch a few games and meet up with a few heads for a pint.
Good luck for now.
