Arsenal Memorabilia
If your chasing a certain Arsenal item from now or back then post it here. I'm sure with the network we have now there would be a member that would have it and maybe willing to sell it or know of where you can get it from.
Anyone know of the best place to get the 3rd strip for this season?

Two Queenslanders, similar names.
Easy to get confused.

If your wanting a very good frame job, go to Superstars and Legends.
Their work is amazing!
They also sell very good memoribilia.

Sorry didn't see Mash had already started a thread for rocky. Though feel I started mine in the right place.
So I'll pass this little exchange between myself and caught offside on to Mash as the true thread starter

As in, I was about to make a thread, then jsut before I clicked it, i saw your thread.
Think I got off lightly look what happened to rayc for daring to have an opinion that wasn't shared by caught offside

Sorry you RVP fans - I still think he's getting a run on past form only. He may come good but I still think he's crap. Nice spot kick though !. He did f**k all else after the first 10 mins.
Thank god the boss changed the 4 at the back to 3 & pushed a man further up the field. With 10 men & 2 goals down he should have done it in the first half. Better late than never.
Are you f*** retarded?
Robin van Persie deserved his time in the game.
He was attacking all the time, and did make some crucial clearances in defense.
Bendtner should be rested until our title race is physically impossible.
Are you f*** retarded? Classy

Back on subject I've got programs and match tickets from my time as a North Bank regular along with some autographed photo's of players. I've been in contact with Graham about posting copies of some of this along with copies of some vintage memorabilia that was reproduced for one of the club membership packs a few years back. So that they are available to members.
Can I also suggest ebay as a good place to get your hands on stuff.
Though this is not without it's dangers. I was out bid for a signed shirt from the last season at Highbury. Later that day I got an email from someone claiming to be willing to let me have another they have for sale, at a little over my last bid, should I send them a cheque to the PO Box address in the email. Lucky for me I'm not that stupid and that's not the only danger.
The memorabilia market is rife with fakes, a certificate of authenticity is just a piece of paper at the end of the day. Someone prepared to sell a fake item will think nothing of giving you one.
There have been at least three high profile court cases over the past few years in the UK brought by players against memorabilia sellers. For selling items that they have had nothing to do with.
Be happy with what your going to buy at the price your going to buy it for.
Then with luck you'll not be dissapointed

What a great thread, im gutted i left all my arsenal stuff with my dad, back in england, luckily i am going back to see all my family for xmas so i am going to go through it all and sort out shipping it, i have a signed season ticket for 1988/89 by smudger, rocky, haysey, and mickey thomas, i met them in the kfc in finsbury park after i got my season ticket for that year, i have oddles of programs, from games i went to and some i collected, i have the speacial 100 meeting between us and the scum it was at shite hart lane and we won 2-1 i think paul davis got a beaut of a free kick but i could be possibly wrong the old altzimmers is kickin in, i also have a signed programme from when i met brian marwood after a game and he signed the poster in the middle of the programme which was a pic of him playin the only time for england, i have squad signatures from 1980-81 season, i have a signed programme from patrick vierra, the Arsenal history book 1886-1986 what a great book, oh another great match programme the anfield one from may 89, thats my most treasured programme for sentimental reasons as that was the best night of my life, god i cant wait to go back to blighty and go through it all, i also have loads of ticket stubbs from my years of going to matches, some of my faves are the plastic cards luton had when they banned away fans, but i went every serason as my grandad was a luton season ticket holder and his mate was a director of the club so i used to get 4 tickets, of course i was always popular when this game came around, the scum supporters i knew would always ask me to get them tickets when spuds played luton and of course i always refused ha ha ha
