Great news for all gooners fans. Not only will Chelsea be worse off without Mourinho but the media won't be filled with his conspiracy theories.

Proves how destructive it can be having someone like abramovich run the club. he knows nothing about football lets hope it dosnt happen to us.
On a brighter note
For all the money he spent the team is not that great and the fact that only 25000 people bothered to show up for a champions league game says it all about the club.

Looks like that Stadium expansion they've been talking about for a while isn't needed.

Have you seen this man?
Scotland Yard have appealed for witnesses after a robbery of astonishing proportions occurred in London last night. Detective Chief Inspector Muddlejumbal of the Serious Fraud Squad called a press conference at the scene of the theft today in what many believe to be the crime of the century.
Last seen at about 9.45 pm in the Chelsea area of London on Tuesday evening
'Thank you for joining me here this morning,' began an ashen-faced Muddlejumbal. 'At this very spot last night a man was robbed of £500m - let me repeat that - £500m. I have just left the victim who understandably is in shock at the incredible amount of money that has been taken from him. Although he has been heavily sedated, he gave a brief statement and provided us with the description of the person we wish to question.'
Continuing after a large photofit of a dubious looking man was shown on a large screen, the Chief Inspector said, 'He is shifty looking, approximately four foot three in height and is described as frequently talking gibberish about eggs . This is a highly dangerous con man who the Police warn should not be trusted by anyone.'
Asked why the press conference was called at the scene of the crime, he replied 'I am appealing directly to the literally dozens of people who were here at Stamford Bridge last night who witnessed this terrible offence. I also ask that the victim, Mr. Abramovich, be left in peace.'

The blogs are full of comments about Mourinho.
Here are some of his best quotes:
"Please don't call me arrogant, but I'm European champion and I think I'm a special one."
"There are only two ways for me to leave Chelsea. One way is in June 2010 when I finish my contract and if the club doesn't give me a new one. It is the end of my contract and I am out. The second way is for Chelsea to sack me. The way of the manager leaving the club by deciding to walk away, no chance! I will never do this to Chelsea supporters." ... Ahem.... yeah right.
"If I wanted to have an easy job...I would have stayed at Porto - beautiful blue chair, the UEFA Champions League trophy, God, and after God, me."
"The circumstances are difficult for us with the new football rules that we have to face. It is not possible to have a penalty against Manchester United and it is not possible to have penalties in favour of Chelsea. It is not a conspiracy, it is fact. I speak facts. If not, I need big glasses."
"Young players are a little bit like melons. Only when you open and taste the melon are you 100 percent sure that the melon is good.Sometimes you have beautiful melons but they don't taste very good and some other melons are a bit ugly and when you open them, the taste is fantastic."
And for those of you who missed the eggs metaphor...
"Omelette, eggs. No eggs, no omelettes. It depends on the quality of the eggs. In the supermarket you have eggs, class one, class two, class three. Some are more expensive than others, and some give you better omelettes. When the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem."

could the news from the other teams get any better?
it seems that both agger and alonso are out for 6 weeks minimum with injuries to the metatersal.
I think that although its early days and we shouldn't get carried away, you just can't help feel that the pendulum is finally swinging to The Arsenal.
lets just hope we can stay injury free and cesc can continue is phenomenal form!

A think Agger will be a bigger loss than Alonso, as Liverpool have no shortage of central defenders.
As long as we continue our good form, we shouldn't have to worry about the other teams.

Today's news is that Chelsea have had to shell out 20m for Mourinho's contract. I guess they're going to have to write-off this season's attempt to turn profitable.

I know they've got the money for it. It's just ironic that they weren't willing to spent it on Alaves but they've spent it anyway.
