well Jol did say that he would bring the closer to a championship, cant say that hes lying  . Well remember the 10 game rule? Normally after 10 games where a club is, is rarely where they finish at the end of the season, If this was true, IT WOULD BE AMAZING, Arsenal Premiership Champions 07/08, and spuds are relegated

That's just too good to be true Arjun. The train station nearest my house is called Tottenham. It gives me the creeps everytime I go past it. I've been tempted to rename it Ashburton Grove a few times.

Aren't they the most expensive bunch of misfits ever?! Gunners Champs and Spuds chumps is the stuff we dream about isn't it? Let's just hope they don't work their way out of the downward spiral and avoid the blockbuster that will be Bristol Rovers v Spuds next season!!!

Does anyone else remember Robbie slater saying on total football that arsenal will finish 5th or 6th and that spurs will finish 4th. what a tool.

i and i guess all other gunners never doubted for a second that we would finish above spurs.

Why by bent when spurs only ever play with 2 forwards?

This is a comment from a spurs supporter before the season started.
"Martin Jol wiill... ...
..be crowned a WHL legend at the end of the coming season. Not since Keith Burkinshaw have we had a man of this quality."

Anyone else remember any others?

even bent mentioned that Arsenal's transfer policy was crap. Well shows how much he knows, lets see how much stick he can give us when we win the championship, and theyre in the championship

Darren Bent - OH WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

He's got to be the champion of doing his talking off the pitch, not on the pitch!

Great result this morning by Getafe 2-1 in UEFA Cup ???, probably seals the deal for Jol. Had a good laugh last night when a mate of mine told me how alot of Spurs fans had backed Jol to be the next Manager sacked & have all done there dough cos Sammy Lee went first, they cant even win backing against themselves....

And to think I actually thought Jol would be good for tottenham, I was worried when he came on board two years ago, tottenham could elevate themselves from cannon fodder to rubish. Thank you Jol for proving me wrong and bringing tottenham to an all time low.

p.s. Jol the money has been transfered to your off shore bank account

oh yeah

At the risk of being unpopular can I just point out we already had a thread for laughing at the scum. Now I like laughing at the scum as much as the next man, maybe more so. But if we start a new tread every time we want to laugh at the scum I fear we'll have more threads about that than the mighty Arsenal. After all the scum w**kers do f**k up a lot.

Can we have this thread moved to join the other one in other stuff?

Cmon everyone join in!!!

By the way Tottenham have probably gone to get the Pope as their new manager :D

Who next for the dreaded Spuds job, otherwise known as 'mission impossible'?! Another foreign coach who can't work out their inferiority complex?

They can't possibly bring back any 'club legends' to coach as any of who has tasted any success would only know about how to play to win a Cup (i.e. 7 matches at most!!) or come from a bygone era when teams had 5 forwards!! You're s*** and you know you are.

Don't know about you guys but the next result I've always looked for whilst being a Gooner for nearly 40 years is Spuds. If they've lost it always makes my weekend, even if unfortunately we have as well!!!

With Middlesboro ,fulham, wigan and sunderland just above spurs and the relegation zone i think its unlikely they will actually drop but you never know .
