Should I buy a v. Persie Jersey??
so.
every few years I buy a jersey with a players name on it who either I like or kicks arse..
this year, the #10 is rerally leading the way.
the problem is, every time I buy a players jersey. some misfortune generally seems to befall him...
Henry, left
Fabregas, Left
Nasri, left in the worst way possible
Vermaelen, injured
Sagna, broke his leg.
so I wonder..
Is it worth it???
I'd like to see RvP get the golden boot, and hes well on the way to get it, hes in superior form and i dont want to jinx it..
I would like his jersey but. and I have a bet with a Scouser over who finishes higher, so I think I have a good chance of getting one...
thoughts?

I got a shirt with Frimpong on it for this season ....and he's out on loan at wolves lol
If it makes you feel better Im fairly confident the shirt printers are not in cohurts with player managers lol
if it did work RayC would have a walcott shirt every season

Wenger would be stupid to sell him.
Rvp given his very "glass" like nature, aka injured more often than fit, would have to have skme serious explaining to do if he left for another club.
He's out lasted every striker ever I believe at arsenal???
He'd ve worse than Nasri if he left given the amount of leeway the club has given him.

I'd hate to see RVP leave, but every player has his price. If Man City offered us 60-70m for him, I'd sell him.
He's 28 now, turns 29 less than a month into next season and has been injury prone in the past byt he's arguably the best outright striker in the world and could play for several more years at the highest level.
We've had little luck with injuries over the past few years, so any number on the back is a risk. However, there's no ration reason to believe that RVP will be injured if you get his number on your shirt. If he's your favourite player, go for it!

Wait until he is confirmed as the winner of the golden boot, and then get a specially tailored shirt commemorating this.
On a side note, the other week I saw someone wearing a Wilshere shirt. I thought to myself at the time that he's probably pulled in on more times this season than the player himself. Get well soon Jack!

Well someone looks set win to a trophy sometime this year....
Glad I didnt buy a shirt..
but take solace in knowing that taking his goals away from UTD, and giving them the Arsenal... we would be first
