Injuries
Already starting to hit the squad and we're only 3 games in
Wilshere out for 3 months
Vermaelen out for 2 months (surgery on left ankle)
Gervinho and Song also still out for one more game due to suspension
expect all the new signings to get thrown straight into the action vs Swansea

Re: Injuries
Update on Vermaelen is that he's only out for 4 weeks then will be training again...not bad news
Good that we seem to be picking up on the potential problems down the track and doing surgery now, rather than waiting til his leg is smothered in gangrene and close to falling off

Re: Injuries
Depth of the squad is really going to be tested over the next few months, the injuries are mounting like we've come to expect in recent seasons
Currently on the table:
Walcott
Gervinho
Koscielny
Squillaci
Wilshere (IMHO he wont play again this season, he has been VERMAELENED)
Benayoun
Djourou
Vermaelen
Diaby
A lot of our starting XI in there...

Re: Injuries
About time they changed the entire fitness / medical staff - too many players getting injured and reinjuring coming back from injuries on the training track over past four seasons or so - it can't be all bad luck can it?

Re: Injuries
Throw Sagna into the mix now
This is getting embarrassing...who is our cover after Jenkinson?

Re: Injuries
The whole staff have to been looked at. Wenger was great initially because he was able to pick up young players for cheaper prices and introduced new training techniques, diets etc, but a number of things need to be addressed now.
The medical staff have been questioned, and perhaps the training needs to be questioned also.
