Bendtner's changed his squad number:

Not bad to offer to personally replace all shirts. Maybe he gets an employee pricing discount.

He should be able to afford it.

Rumours are that he's just signed a contract worth 50K per week!

He's becoming a good player, but that seems a lot of money for a player still developing. It's not a bad though. He's got a big ego and is likely to get upset if he's not played or isn't paid enough, so it's better to be pre-emptive in contract negotiations to stop issues happening later.

Bendtner is only 2-3 weeks away now.

I really think that he's the man that could get Arsenal back into the scoring grove and playing some really attractive football (not that we've been that bad recently).

Arshavin, Vela and Eduardo aren't that capable of leading the line, but Bendtner is, and I think it's his best position. He was great against United last year when he was the only striker available, and started the season well.

if he came back at the start of jan it would ease wengers dilemma of whether to dip into the transfer market for a striker but now its a pretty difficult decision. once bendtner comes back, it will further enhance in the form that not only does he lead the line, but arsh can go back on the left/right.

Latest news is that he could be back in the squad for the Bolton game.

Hopefully, he'll start to lead the line with Arshavin playing off him for the next few matches.

Alternatively, he could give Arshavin a rest in order to recuperate from his foot injury.

Forgot to mention it's the Bolton game on the 17th, not tomorrow.

Regardless, it'll be good to have him back soon.

I have to say I actually rate young Nick quite highly. He is not scared to take ppl on. A lot of defenders seem to have trouble working out what he is going to do. It might be because he does not really know himself, but who cares if it works. The only downside is his finishing, but before his injury he seemed to be doing better with that. With Arsh, Rosicky and Nasri feeding him in the middle, at least until Cesc comes back, I think he will prove very effective - if he keeps improving on his finishing.

The great thing about Bendtner is that he simply needs to gain the composure.

He's got the technique, the physical attributes and the confidence.

Simple swilly

That man on the pitch at Emirates was a stunt double as the real bendtner had to drink beer (and Jaeger) with the Arsenal Australia crew.

Clearly if Bendtner was on the pitch at emirates he would have scored the winner with a header in injury time

pfft some gooner you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
