This is a rubbish squad! Absolute rubbish!! It really, truly is.

I know its leden with World Cup winners, internationals, and loads of talent, but there is no point having this talent if all they do is end up sitting in the sidelines all season. Frimpong is supposed to be some of the backup, but if the backup is out as well, then who we gonna call on when the first teamers are out????

Lets hope this is the last of the injuries, and the boys can get some understanding and combinations happening on the pitch!

Come on Gunnerzzzzzzz!!!!

Eastmond was rated higher than Frimpong prior to pre season so i guess he steps back into that spot

I don't know why we're getting so many injuries.

It doesn't seem that we're buying players with checkered injury histories. I wonder if it's down to Wenger's training methods and hopefully the systems that they're implementing will resolve the issues.

At least by resting Fab and RVP we've reduced the risk of them being injured.

Nasri has resumed training and an outside chance for the Bolton game after the break.

Just shows how crazy Domenech was to leave him out of the world cup squad!

I'm surprised he won it considering he wasn't picked for the world cup squad, although they may not have wanted to give it to anyone involved in the shambolic world cup performance. He beat some tough opposition in Gourcuff, Lloris and Benzema too. A great result.

Benzema has barely played a game since he went to Real Madrid though - he would be a great pick up for any club - ManUtd are circling, whish he could come to Arsenal though.

Despite the fact that the rumour was complete crap, I got quite excited by the thought of a Benzema for Clichy + 5-10m cash swap deal.

It would actually suit both clubs, but Arsene would have to go back to 4-4-2 and be willing to pay the massive wages that Benzema will be on.

Benzema for Clichy wouldnt be a bad thing.

Do we need another striker though? Expecially with Vela and Bendtner warming the bench.

We will be good for Left Back, with Gibbs and Botelho, who is in Spain waiting for his EU passport.

The changes of it happening are extremely slight. I don't think Madrid would want Clichy which would complicate the situation and Clichy isn't worth anything near what Benzema is worth.

However, I reckon the transfer would work for both teams if they were interested, but we'd have to move back to a 4-4-2. The reason why Bendtner and Vela are warming the bench is that there's a place for only one striker in the team at the moment, whilst we're playing 4-5-1.

if man city are really offering 20 mil now then we need to take it.
his head has been turned and i dont think he will be fully committed for the next 12 months. if fabregas is staying then we can afford to let this 1/2 a season wonder go.

Cesc and Nasri can both go.... Not concerned in the slightest about these 2 going... Jack is better than Cesc is now anyway and he wants to be there. Gervihno can do the job Nasri was doing (probably better) and with AA, Theo, Miaychi, Rosicky, we have plenty of wide men, one more like a Mata would be a bonus.

The only 2 places I am concerned with is CD and LB.... FFS get Metersacker for 6-8mil and Dann for about the same then put Squillaci down... Get Enrique or seriously look at Vermaalen or Kosi to play LB because Gibbs cannot be relied upon for the duration of a season and I don't think Traore is up to it.

I think we are in for good things this season if we get the couple of defensive signings and get rid of Cesc and Nasri... to me it looks like they have been doing more harm then good in the squad.
