Samir Nasri

haha Navas?
I don't want that whinging lil boy at our team...
He suffers from immense homesickness...i think it was the last euro..he had to fly home because he missed the comforts of his mother's bosom...

But we need a flying winger
not really...
uneven flanks (in terms of attack) can be good...
Im happy with Rosi/Walcott/Hleb/RVP/Nasri if it can be worked out...who plays where may become difficult...especially if Hleb stays and Rosi somehow stays fit.

Don't forget about Randall and Gibbs, plus Traore may play on the left.
With any luck we won't have to use Eboue all season.

Why not? They'll be ok in the team, because they've played for the reserves, who play a similar style and have grown up with the club.
It's more so they'll take time to develop, not to adapt. Similar to Bendtner last year.

Perhaps your right, but from the development sense of view, are they ready to break the void left by Flam and possibly Hleb?

No.
Flamini was a DM, Song or Gilberto will fill in for him.
In regards to Hleb, Nasri will fill in for him if he leaves.
Gibbs and Randall will provide depth and mean that we won't have to play defensive players on the flanks like we did at times last year.

He joined local side Olympic Marseilles aged just nine years-old, where he earned the nickname ‘le Petit Prince’.
he does look about 12 years old in his pics, but i am soooooooooooo happy we signed him made my weekend and his young lady is a bit of a treacle to
he was about 12 million i think, they say undisclosed but the tabloids give a price,

Some great highlights on those YouTube clips. Can't wait for the season to start to see him in action for the Gunners.

I wonder if Wenger will start him from the start of the season or bring him off the bench.
If Hleb goes and Rosicky still isn't fit, he may start.

Not necessarily, in all likelyhood we have seen Hleb at his best but Nasri is young and an excellent replacement. He will get better and should prove to be a far better player in the long term. I know he may not be as good as Hleb short term but wait until the season starts. Remember this time last year everyone thought the sky had fallen in after Henry left but we had forgotten about petty quickly as we took the lead in the premiership in September.
In saying that I would like to see Hleb stay as well to give us some depth but it looks highly unlikely.

It's a big bonus.
We've signed one of the most talented young players.
It's not the same as last season anyway. Remember, we may not have Flamini or mad Jens, who didn't play much last year anyway, but we've got Vela, Gibbs and Randall who will add depth on the wings.
We've also got players like Merida etc who may come through also, although I think it may be a year or two more for Merida, Nordtveit etc.
BTW - good to see some positive comments Lachie.

We need to get a song for him.
Any ideas?
